Research is a process that must be constant and dynamic to contribute to the improvement of teaching, thus complementing and strengthening the teaching-learning process. For this reason, the Journal of Research and Information in Health emphasizes the importance of integrating research practices into the educator's teaching methods, where the first step is research, which must be complemented by the production of both intellectual work and goods or services in response to the needs of our society. Multidisciplinary teamwork is essential to accomplish this task.
