Abstract

A case was presented for a second right upper retained premolar (item 1 5), observed in routine radiographic examination, prior to orthodontic treatment. In parallel, an increase in volume was evident on the right palatal mucosa, asymptomatic to palpation. At periapical radiographic examination, the piece held upright with the crown at the level of the roots of neighboring parts was observed. To clinical examination was not observed deviation from the midline at the level of upper and Iower incisors, so that the specialist alleged the surgical removal of the workpiece to the difficulty of eruption of it.
