Abstract

In the ICU, the patients that are admitted require constant monitoring. It is crucial to have an effective pain managment using the adequate analgesics to improve their quality of life, in addition common topics such as myocardial infarction and cardiogenic shock that demand monitoring through central vein cathethers and ecocardiograms are discussed.
