Abstract

The orange tree, native to Asia, is a plant that has different medicinal properties that favor good health, due to its chemical components (pectin, acetic acid, ascorbic and citric), amino acids, alkaloids, sugars, vitamins, ascorbic acid, minerals metals and proteins.

The lack of information we have about the medicinal properties of orange blossom causes its inappropriate use and, therefore, does not contribute to the favorable development of certain diseases.

The objective of this research is to describe the spasmodic, sedative and hypnotic effects of the Orange Blossom and use it as an alternative natural medicine.
