LEARNING STYLES AND TECHNIQUES USED BY PHYSIOTHERAY AND KINESIOLOGY FIRST SEMESTER STUDENTS DURING 2015 AT DEL VALLE UNIVERSITY

The educational vision of the combined use of techniques and learning styles leads to determine which are used by students studying first semester (2015) of Physiotherapy and Kinesiology Degree, at Del Valle University. For this a prospective, transversal and analytic research was performed. The study group has 56 students from Physiotherapy Degree in 1-11/2015. The instrument used was a survey pre-prepared with reference sources containing open and closed questions. Emerging data were recorded in Excel v. 2013 for tabulation and examination. The findings indicate that students used two techniques of study: reading and videos and audios; white in terms of learning styles is concerned, dominate the visual style of learning, and kinesthetic. These results indicate that the universe shows deficiency using techniques of study and the relationship with learning styles in each student. After the survey, identifying the techniques and styles of learning it was determined that students in the Physiotherapy and Kinesiology Degree from first semester need, from strengthening their notions, applying techniques and styles which Will result in the acquisition of conceptual theory and practice necessary for meaningful learning.
