This article addresses the theme, planning rural communities towards sustainable development, as an analytical and procedural approach for students of architecture and urbanism within the different architectural design workshops, for Rural District 7 of the Municipality of Sucre, specifically in the Community of El Chaco identified as a 1st level populated center in the Territorial Planning Plan, being a center of development of this region, where new proposals for housing and equipment have been considered, whose coverage will be at the district level, that is, it will include those of communities of the Mojotoro canton. Thus, a fundamental part of the research is to analyze, detect and propose new intervention strategies that influence the planned growth and design of the community, in order to improve the image of the urban and sustainable landscape of the territorial space, the which is located on an interdepartmental road between Chuquisaca and Cochabamba; favoring the estimation and projection of the scope of the architectural proposals carried out in a collaborative and transversal way by the students of the Architecture and Urbanism career of the Univalle Sucre Headquarters. This methodological work process strengthens the student's problem-solving capacity in the face of the complexity of human and environmental needs that go parallel to the fundamental guidelines of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) outlined by the United Nations Organization (UN) for the New Urban Agenda. Obtaining data for the development of the different projects was conducted using a qualitative approach, based on the observation of the emplacement sites, their current conditions, and their relevance in relation to the immediate environment, so that students can interpret the results and complement them with quantitative indicators that nourished the final result.Downloads
