A 21 years old patient from Univalle Hospital, with severe isolated Hyperparathyroidism with pathological bone fractures and widespread own bone lesions was presented; muscle weakness and kidney stones, produced by a Iow grade Parathyroid Carcinoma.
The surgery was successful, but the possibility of recurrence exists and still Other growths that can appear, typical of mixed tumors with multiple neoplasms that are genetic.
The instruction here is that it is necessary to be aware of pathological fractures, bone of poor quality, even in young, since the discovery of own bone lesions of hyperparathyroidism is rare today in Other countries, and measurement of hypercalcemia must be done routinely.
