Global ConstitutionalismAbstract
The objective of this research work is to identify the main challenges and opportunities for the protection of human rights within the framework of global constitutionalism and the context of contemporary interconnection and diversity. For the methodological approach, the socio-legal approach has been used, supported by the documentary analysis of international legal regulations and inherent themes; A comparative analysis was also carried out and some case studies were used to support the analysis. There are several difficulties in the protection of these rights, such as the lack of effective implementation of national and international human rights treaties or the abuse of global power by multinational corporations. Based on this, some strategic challenges and opportunities for democratic strengthening are raised in response to the aforementioned problems, such as the strengthening of the international legal framework, the deepening of education and awareness, greater citizen participation or the free use and access of technology for protection.
