Abstract

In recent years, majar capital cities in Bolivia were victims of a growing number of crimes, in which the predominant crime was kidnapping, especially express kidnapping, causing fear in society. In this situation, the Solivian police was overwhelmed in their ability, having no methods or procedures to tace this crime. Thus, in other countries Acoustic Forensic arises as an alternative of forensic science, which helps identifying individuals by voice, being useful to analyze the first call made by the kidnapper to notify victims and asking an economic in exchange far the freedom of the kidnapped person.
