This article aims to reflect about the importance of economic discipline knowledge in the decisionmaking of families and businesses, based on the generation of certainty about the context in which the actions are developed, the result of the decisions that are taken about consumption and investment in different markets. The empirical analysis of the monetary policy report of the Central Bank of Bolivia is the basis for establishing the terms of financial stability from a macroeconomic perspective by identifying the Bolivian scenario through a South American comparative approach used as a context.
