Diverticular disease of the jejunum, presentation of a case at Hospital Obrero No. 2 National Health Fund

Diverticular disease that consists of the formation of saccular dilations in some organ of the digestive tract; It generally occurs in the descending colon or ileum, the rarest cases being those that occur in organs such as the stomach or small intestine in its jejunum framework.
On this occasion we present a case of an 82-year-old male patient who was treated at the Hospital Obrero Numero 2 of the National Health Fund Cochabamba Bolivia. He was admitted for a high intestinal obstruction due to flanges and adhesions due to his surgical history; however, during the trans-surgery the surgical team was able to notice the presence of an infrequent pathology that is diverticular disease of the jejunum.
