The thoughts, practices, and sexual lives of young people, while being a common and highly important topic within society, do not receive the continuity or follow-up they require. This issue transitions from a personal level, such as the construction of identity and acceptance or tolerance, to a complex context that impacts the very institutions of society in a highly globalized world that changes with trends and influences, particularly in values and morality, driven by social media. Therefore, this research aims to describe variables regarding perceptions and preferences in the area of sexuality among young people, following a descriptive study through the application of surveys to a selected population, using a non-probabilistic cluster sampling method. The results obtained allow for the observation of a trend towards greater tolerance and sexual freedom, albeit still with some confidentiality regarding their families and religion.
