Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and remain anonymous to authors throughout the process. Guidelines for reviewers are available on the journal website.
Publishing Ethics
JLASC adheres to world-class standards in publishing ethics and maintains strict policies on originality, authorship, conflicts of interest, and data integrity. The journal uses CrossCheck to screen for plagiarism. Detailed ethical guidelines for authors, reviewers, and editors are available online, along with a transparent appeals and complaints procedure. The Journal of Latin American Sciences and Culture (JLASC) outlines the Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement (PEMS) and is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity in scholarly publishing. As a condition of submission and publication, all authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to fully comply with the policies outlined in this statement and the broader Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing (COPE et al., 2022).
