Training program to update digital competencies for the improuement of medical instruction in Bolivia

The importance of the debates and analyzes on teacher education within the framework of the new educational scenarios and the growing increase in the academic offer for university teaching tends to ask about the characteristics currently assumed by the training of teachers in that Leve[ of education. One of the central problems of discussion about the formation of professors in the university is the quality of the training processes and the role of the information and communication technologies in those processes, from which the objectives of the present theme of investigation. To carry out the interpretation of the data, and in function of the achievement of the objectives, the survey that was applied as a case study to 42 teachers and to 284 students of the Medicine Career of the University of Aquino Bolivia. Based on the results obtained, it is proposed to implementa training and updating program in digital skills to improve the teaching practice in the Medicine Career of the universities in Bolivia. The proposal of a training program and updating of the digital skills, will favor the performance of the teacherof the Medicine Career in the classroom using the lnformation and Communication Technologies.
