This article carried out the analysis of the level of skills developed in digital skills of the teachers of the Private University of Valle de Sucre Academic Sub-headquarters, taking into account the dimensions that assess skills through indicators, which are established by the European Union. The study was carried out on 65 teachers of the different careers that belong to the six directions. The information was obtained through the application of a questionnaire specifically designed to measure the Digital Competences of University Teachers. The results found can be considered as acceptable since the teachers show an average level of digital skills without distinctions between gender, academic degree, type of appointment, or teaching seniority; but there is a positive attitude towards the proper use of ICT as a means to improve their teaching practice. According to the results, it is suggested to design and apply teacher training courses in a systematic way, according to specifications such as training area, area of impact of teaching; since the attitude manifested by the teachers is proactive.
