In this article, the design of an inspection plan has been carried out for "Plant 1" of a company dedicated to the manufacturing of dairy products in Santa Cruz. Through the analysis of failure records and considering operational importance, 10 critical equipment have been identified. Using tools such as the criticality matrix and failure frequency, the inspection frequency, methods, and procedures have been established for each selected equipment. The proposed inspection plan has been validated through a thorough review, ensuring its feasibility and effectiveness. Recommendations have been provided for the successful implementation of the plan, focusing on detailed documentation and providing practical guidance for maintenance management in the plant. The project has focused on the design of the inspection plan, excluding the stage of implementation and subsequent evaluation.
