BIM (Building lnformation Modeling), asan evolution of traditional design-oriented software programs, constitutes the new paradigm in the management and development of projects in the architecture, engineering and construction industry which, as a concept, orders peo ple, processes and tools centralizing around a parametric and digital model (and data base) of the building or product the work created by ali participating agents, including remotely and asynchronously, offering an infinite number of possibilities when it comes to defining the configuration and scope of the expected result, identifying interferences between specialties and thus getting ahead of project risk identification, performing energy and structural simulations, solving installations systems, integrating ali product information with consistency and thus, develop a useful and pertinent information according to the receiver, the stage and face of the project, the objective of the information generated and the necessary workflows for an effective and efficient performance that generate savings during the life cycle of the projects and its use.
