Abstract

This project proposes the design of a geolocation system with alarm and monitoring based on the internet of things for people with Alzheimer's, the system includes a TTGO T-Call ESP32 card with SIM800L capable of connecting to the internet via Wi-Fi or GSM and transmitting the geographic coordinates captured by the Neo 6M GPS module, to the Firebase database, where they are hosted and managed to be displayed in a mobile application (GeoLin Maps) that with the Google Maps APIs, generate a map and markers that indicate the current location of both the caregiver and the person with Alzheimer's.The system is designed so that the range of proximity between the caregiver and the person with Alzheimer's is configurable, with a minimum of 10 meters; when this range is exceeded, an alert notification is activated, and the patient's positioning coordinates start to be sent and recorded in real time in the database and in the caregiver's mobile application
