Reliability Centered Maintenance Applied to the Hydraulic System of Cobee Huaji Power House

Solivian Company of Electric Power, COBEE, is one of the companies of more important hydraulic generation in Bolivia. Following its politics of continuous progress to achieve a more efficient management, a methodology of Reliability Centered Maintenance to the hydraulic system was applied at Huaji plant, located in Zonqo s Val ley, to suggest maintenance tasks, their frequencies and responsible people. The analysis used the parameters of the standard SAE JA 1011; which demanded to form a multi-disciplinary working group with the system most involved staff andto answer, in planned meetings, the seven basic questions of Reliability Centered Maintenance. The entire study was documented in worksheets and maintenance plans for access to all the company staff.
